Abi Kloosterman works in organizational communications at Harlem Children’s Zone, a renowned education non-profit located in Harlem, New York City. She began her career in communications working in beauty public relations after graduating from Manhattan College in the Bronx, New York City in 2018. A Denver, Colorado native, Abi has lived in New York City for ten years and currently lives in Manhattan with her fiancé. Her passion and motivation for breast cancer care and research comes from her family’s experiences with cancer. Both her mom and her fiancé’s sister were diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021 and are current breast cancer survivors. Their grace and strength while experiencing breast cancer motivates Abi to help continue to provide care and education for those experiencing the disease alongside the incredible work of The Pink Agenda. Abi also ran the 2021 and 2023 New York City Marathon and 2022 New York City Half Marathon with The Pink Agenda team and currently serves on The Pink Agenda’s Leadership Council.
