As we continue to practice social distance, The Pink Agenda (TPA) community remains committed to our cause. Our leadership continues to create exciting new opportunities to raise money, raise awareness, and raise hell for breast cancer research!
THANK YOU TO OUR PARTICIPANTS
The Pink Agenda held its first-ever #Move2RaiseHell Virtual Race for Research on Sunday, June 6, in conjunction with National Cancer Survivors Day.
More than 300 TPA supporters from across the country walked, ran, biked, and danced for 3.8 miles to honor the 3.8+ million breast cancer survivors and thrivers in the U.S., and raised nearly $68,000 and counting in support of lifesaving research!
The event was made possible through the support of our sponsors, AmRisc Group, Citrone 33, and EC Scott Group.
TPA Talks: On the Agenda
Through our virtual education series, TPA Talks: On the Agenda, The Pink Agenda presents unique opportunities for our community to learn more about different aspects of breast cancer that are especially relevant for young professionals. We invite you to join us for the second of three events in 2021, discussing Genetics & Fertility, on Thursday, June 24 at 6:30 PM ET.
In a conversation moderated by Amanda Rice, panelists Dr. Susan M. Domchek, Dr. Ann Partridge, and Erika Stallings will explore the wide-ranging effects of carrying a genetic mutation that increases breast cancer risk, and how this, or receiving a breast cancer diagnosis, can impact fertility-based choices or future family planning.
FAB-U-WISH
Melissa had worked hard to get into the best physical shape of her life last year, but her efforts came to a halt when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She completed treatment without ever losing her signature sense of humor and was eager to regain her strength, noting that “being strong makes me feel my best.”
To help Melissa reach her goals, FAB-U-WISH granted her a membership to OrangeTheory Fitness (OTF). With her membership, Melissa hopes to visit fifty OTF studios as she travels across the country and shared that “FAB-U-WISH has given her the opportunity not only to grow stronger post-treatment, but to spread awareness of the importance of early detection at every studio she visits.”
Breast cancer treatment and self-care shouldn’t be a trade off, and FAB-U-WISH is here to help!
