As we continue to practice social distance, The Pink Agenda (TPA) community remains committed to our cause. To start the year, our leadership has created exciting new opportunities to raise money, raise awareness, and raise hell for breast cancer research!
TPA TALKS: ON THE AGENDA
TPA Talks: On the Agenda is The Pink Agenda’s new virtual education series, in which distinguished panelists come together for three events throughout 2021 to discuss different aspects of breast cancer that are especially relevant for young professionals.
The first panel held on Thursday, April 1 discussed Body Positivity & Wellness. Moderated by TPA Leadership Council member Paige Stables, panelists Elizabeth Comen, MD; Neil Iyengar, MD; and Sally Wolf shared evidence-based ways to reduce breast cancer risk and risk of recurrence, tips for managing emotional health and physical wellbeing during stressful situations, and ways to cope with the physical side effects of breast cancer personally and support a loved one through treatment.
The next TPA Talks: On the Agenda event on Thursday, June 24 at 6:30 PM ET will explore Genetics & Fertility.
