Just before her 33 rd birthday, Stacey learned that she had breast cancer. As she
progressed in and out of doctors’ appointments, it was discovered that Stacey was
stage IV, triple positive. Extremely scared and sad, Stacey decided to do what she does
best. With the help of her family, she created a plan and set a goal to beat this disease.
Her course of treatment started quickly and, after chemotherapy, Stacey showed no
evidence of disease. She continues to fight and wants to be a beacon of hope
highlighting her faith and perseverance.
Stacey’s family has been an invaluable support throughout her journey. Her wish was to
have a fun experience with them to help show just how much their help and support
mean to her. Some of her favorite times with them are shopping and dining out together.
#FABUWISH was thrilled to arrange for Stacey and her family to enjoy a day of
shopping at some of her favorite stores as well as an evening dining out at one of her
favorite local restaurants, Meril.
“I cannot thank you enough for the incredible experience you and the FAB-U-
WISH team created for me. From the moment I found out that my wish had been
granted, I felt seen, celebrated, and uplifted during a time that has often felt uncertain
and heavy. More than the gifts themselves, it was the gesture-the reminder that joy and
beauty still exist in this journey-that meant the most. The FAB-U-WISH experience
reminded me that I am more than my diagnosis. It gave me a moment to reclaim myself
and to celebrate how far I’ve come, which has renewed my strength as I continue
through survivorship”
