Gourmet Gatherings: Elevating Breast Cancer Conversations

Following the success of the inaugural TPA Supper Club New York, The Pink Agenda brought its Supper Club Series to Chicago and Boston this May, combining gourmet experiences with critical conversations on breast cancer awareness.

Chicago’s Napa Valley Culinary and Wine Tasting

On May 7, TPA Chicago gathered at The Oakville Grill & Cellar for a memorable evening of Napa Valley food and wine tasting. This event featured Dr. Seema Khan of Northwestern University, who led an engaging discussion on breast cancer risk factors, personalization and prediction, and explored current and future methods for improving breast cancer prevention.

Boston’s Gastronomic and Research Showcase

On May 22, TPA Boston hosted a remarkable event at Winnie’s | The Millennium Winthrop, featuring a culinary masterpiece curated by Michelin-starred Chef John Fraser. Dr. Ann Partridge of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute led a discussion on the latest advances in breast cancer research and care, delving into the biological underpinnings of breast cancer in young women, and interventions aimed at enhancing care and support for young women affected by breast cancer.

This fall, TPA’s Supper Club Series continues to pair exceptional dining with essential breast cancer awareness. On Tuesday, October 29, the series will debut in Palm Beach at kitchen. Following this, on Tuesday, November 12, The Pink Agenda will host its second annual Supper Club New York at MM Kitchen. These events promise to offer memorable culinary experiences alongside impactful discussions on breast cancer.

The Pink Agenda’s Speaker Series unites young breast cancer experts and advocates to share their experiences and insights. These speakers provide valuable perspectives on breast cancer basics, raising awareness about managing increased diagnosis risks.

Through engaging stories and extensive knowledge, we aim to educate, inspire, and motivate audiences to proactively consider their health and understand breast cancer’s impact on survivors, caregivers, loved ones, and friends.

Attending a Speaker Series event offers the chance to:

Gain Insight: Learn from those who have faced breast cancer firsthand.

Be Inspired: Hear stories of resilience, early detection, and community power.

Get Informed: Discover the latest research and advances in treatment and prevention.

Support a Cause: Contribute to breast cancer research and support programs.

The series, available virtually and in person, has reached thousands. It’s valuable for corporate groups, young professionals, and community organizations, tailored to be accessible and beneficial for all ages and genders.

Participate in or host The Pink Agenda’s Speaker Series to enhance your knowledge and join a community dedicated to fighting breast cancer. For more information or to schedule an event, email speakerseries@thepinkagenda.org.

Celebrating Seven Strong Women

During the week of July 15, The Pink Agenda recognized the journeys of seven extraordinary women undergoing breast cancer treatment. Thanks to Giuliana Rancic’s FAB-U-WISH program, these women received unforgettable experiences and gifts to help them feel uplifted and special. FAB-U-WISH grants approximately 40 wishes annually to help women undergoing treatment for breast cancer feel fabulous

Each day throughout the week, we highlighted a different wish recipient on our social channels, sharing their powerful stories and the special moments made possible by FAB-U-WISH.

If you missed it, head over to our Instagram and Facebook pages to catch up on their inspiring stories, and click here to learn more about how to make a wish happen. Breast cancer treatment and self-care shouldn’t be a trade-off, and FAB-U-WISH is making sure every woman gets the care she deserves.
