Celebrating Progress & Building Momentum

This fall, The Pink Agenda had a packed calendar, holding several events nationwide – all a powerful testament to the strength of our community and the difference we can make together. From inspiring moments to record-breaking achievements, these gatherings showcased what is possible when we unite with purpose. Thanks to the support of attendees, sponsors, and partners, The Pink Agenda is well-positioned to continue its critical work of funding life-changing breast cancer research and providing hope to those affected by the disease. Together, we are making strides toward a future free from breast cancer.

The Pink Agenda’s signature fall events: Pink on the River in Chicago, Annual New York City Gala, and Annual Atlanta Gala their communities in a shared mission to advance breast cancer research and support Giuliana Rancic’s FAB-U-WISH program. Nearly 1,250 passionate attendees joined us across the country to inspire lasting change through their generosity, enthusiasm, and unwavering commitment to TPA’s mission.

With record-breaking success in all three cities, these events showcased the extraordinary impact of collective action. From inspiring fundraising milestones to the heartfelt granting of FAB-U-WISH experiences, each gathering brought hope, joy, and tangible progress toward TPA’s mission.

 

A Season of Education and Impact:
TPA’s Supper Clubs and Speaker Series

This fall, The Pink Agenda advanced breast cancer awareness and education through its signature Supper Club events and nationwide Speaker Series.

 

 

TPA hosted its inaugural Supper Club Palm Beach at kitchen in West Palm Beach, on October 29, uniting supporters for an intimate evening to learn about the latest in breast cancer research and care.

On November 12, TPA’s 2nd Annual Supper Club New York brought guests to MM Kitchen Studio for a cocktail hour and gourmet dinner by Chef Marc Murphy’s team. Dr. Senayet Agonafer, Regional Breast Division Chief at Lenox Hill Radiology, shared insights into advancements in screening technology.

In addition to these events, TPA’s Speaker Series continued to educate and empower communities nationwide. Throughout the fall, over 45 companies and organizations, including Hyatt WorldwideNorthern TrustTikTok and Lettuce Entertain You, hosted Speaker Series events, featuring young breast cancer thrivers, survivors, and previvors who shared their personal stories and experiences. These workshops focused on educating attendees about breast cancer basics, the lived experience of those at risk, and the importance of early detection and prevention.

 

 

Team TPA Conquers the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon!

This year, 39 incredible Team TPA runners took on the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon, embodying determination, resilience, and passion every step of the way. Together, they raised over $246,000 and counting to support The Pink Agenda’s mission—raising money, raising awareness, and raising hell to advance breast cancer research and grant FAB-U-WISH dreams. Their inspiring efforts not only crossed finish lines but also brought us closer to a future free of breast cancer.

Everybody Walk Now

On Sunday, October 13, The Pink Agenda community, along with friends and family of TPA Board Member Erica Starr, gathered in Central Park for a heartfelt walk in her memory. Erica, a beloved TPA board member, was known for her vibrant energy, unforgettable smile, and unwavering dedication to raising awareness and funds to find a cure for breast cancer. Together, the group raised over $7,600 to support The Pink Agenda’s mission, celebrating Erica’s incredible legacy and continuing the impactful work she championed with so much passion.

 

Sweating Pink with Dancebody

On October 22, DanceBody’s Tribeca Studio was buzzing with energy and purpose as supporters gathered to Sweat Pink raising over $3,500 for breast cancer research! With a packed schedule of classes led by master trainers and co-founders, including an unforgettable Team Teach with Courtnay and Katia, the day was filled with sweat, smiles, and support for The Pink Agenda.

 

Decked Out for A Cure

 

On Thursday, October 24, The Pittsburgh Gala’s Decked Out for a Cure brought Monte Carlo magic to Pittsburgh. Hosted by Citrone 33 and co-chaired by TPA Board member Gabriela Rooney and Leadership Council member Meg Verone, the casino-themed evening featured blackjack, roulette, and an inspiring community dedicated to advancing breast cancer research.

Thanks to the generosity of attendees and the leadership of our co-chairs, the event raised over $40,000 to support The Pink Agenda’s mission. It was a night of fun, hope, and meaningful progress toward a future free from breast cancer.

 

Mad Hatter’s Halloween

On Friday, November 1, Melissa Micari, a dedicated TPA Board Member, hosted an enchanting Alice in Wonderland-themed Halloween Party at Blue Haven South in NYC. The event, which raised an incredible $3,700, marked the close of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and honored Melissa’s late mother, Nancy Rapenske.

 

 

This fall, rag & bone and BOGNER hosted The Pink Agenda for two incredible in-store events at their NYC Flagship stores, raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research.

From fall styles at rag & bone to ski-ready looks at BOGNER, our community shopped with purpose, with proceeds directly supporting TPA’s mission.

 

Five Years of Partnership with Scooter’s Coffee 

The Pink Agenda was honored to partner with Scooter’s Coffee again this year to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research. Throughout October, Scooter’s featured the beloved Courage Cookies and introduced the Courage Quencher—a refreshing blend of strawberry, lime, and coconut milk topped with freeze-dried blueberries.

Thanks to the incredible support of Scooter’s Coffee and its customers, franchise owners and employees, over $249,000 was raised this year, funding nearly 5,000 hours of breast cancer research. Since the partnership began in 2020, Scooter’s has donated over $900,000 and sold more than 1 million Courage Cookies in support of The Pink Agenda’s mission.

We are so grateful to Scooter’s Coffee for their continued commitment to creating a future free of breast cancer.
