A FAB-U-WISH FOR Alison B.

In mid-May, at the age of 31, Ali went to her doctor for her annual appointment, during whichthey felt a lump. A teacher who was approaching the end of the school year, it wasjust afterthelast day of school that Ali went for her mammogram and ultrasound. The results weresuspicious, and Ali was sent for additional testing.Less than a week later, she received aconfirmed diagnosis of stage 2 triple negative breast cancerand in under a month wasbeginning chemotherapy.

Throughout it all, Ali has had awonderful support system, including her husband. After puttingtheir plans on hold, they are thrilled to have recently purchased their first home and closed onthe property just five days before Ali’s reconstruction. As they start this new chapter togetherand Ali looks toward survivorship, she cannot wait to start making their house a home. With thehelp of our incredible friends @KendraScott, #FABUWISH was thrilled to arrange for Ali to enjoya special jewelry shopping experience at one of their local boutiques in addition to a furnitureshopping experience at one of Ali’s favorite home décor retailers.

Quote:“Each and every time I walk past the couch, I am reminded of how hard I fought to behere and how blessed I am. Throughout my treatment, I wanted to be able to have wine nightwith my friends and watch movies with my family. Now that I am through treatment, we are ableto do just that on the world’s most comfy couch. To say thank you doesn’t even begin to cover itbut thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
